Discordia! Discordia.

I will finish what was started

The crowd had gathered there to watch him fall, to watch their hopes destroyed.

They watched them beat him, they watched them break him, they watched his last defense deployed.

There was not a man among them who would let himself be heard.
But from the crowd, from the collective fear, arose these broken words:
We are the dead
We are the dead

  1. Slice. Dice. Damn. Who is Dice?

It doesn't show on the post but in my dashboard, I saw the lyrics from the end of Hope Rides Alone. "They watched them beat him, they watched them break him, they saw his last defense destroyed..."

Slice. I need to go rescue Kay now. I'm sorry I couldn't have been more help. But unlike the people from The City in "Hope Rides Alone"...

On all of these blogs across the internet, they fight. These are the people that value courage over life. A hero is just a man who knows he's free, and they know they're free, and they're fighting for it.

SHE used to mock me with the line, "If they deserve life, let them fight for themselves! We've given everything we can, there are no heroes left in man..."

And SHE was wrong. Every single person stuck in this still fights. It's incredible. There are heroes left in man, and goddamn are they giving it what they've got. that's enough for me to go to work. I hope these pictures don't mean what I think they do. It would have been nice to meet you.

And yet, I feel it is not over. We will meet some day, Slice. That's a promise.

  2. Slice. Bro. Can I crash with you for a while? I'm near Springfield. I uh. Well I don't know anywhere else to head.
