Did the library have any other patrons while you were there? As I stated before, it was empty when I got there aroudn 2:50 PM and saw the construct almost immediately.
I know, but I had to be sure about things. So we were both there at the same time, but yet....weren't? Could I have been shifted into some kind of alternate zone where I was still in the same building as you, but the people there couldn't perceive me or me them?
See, Little Prey. See what happens when you disobey? It will be worse next time if you do not fulfill your role in the stage my Master has taken the trouble of setting. I warned you about The Mark. Now reap.
@Slice: I'm glad that you're okay. I don't know what to do at this point, man. I really don't. It feels like I'm fighting an uphill battle and I keep losing my footing. Just running away isn't getting it done anymore. I'm going to have to go about this from a different angle.
